Job Description



Local manufacturing company located in North Pensacola needs Manufacturing Operation Technicians.  The Manufacturing Operation Technician is primarily responsible for inspection of produced material and operation of the production lines’ winders.  In any assigned area, the Manufacturing Operations Technician must be able to safely and efficiently operate various machinery, ensure that products meet customer expectations, identify and assist in resolution of equipment issues and safely move and store material as required.  Check out the description below to see if this position sounds like a great fit for you!

You Have:

* High School Diploma or GED

* 1 or more years in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Construction, Trade School or has Mechanical aptitude.

* Computer proficiency and knowledge particularly with Microsoft Word and Outlook.

 

Compensation and Schedule:

* This position is full-time and starts at $15.00 per hour.

* Scheduled work hours:  12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays.  This is a 24 hour/7 day a week operation.  

* Scheduled work hours per week:  36-48

* Shifts are:  6:30am - 6:30 pm and 6:30pm - 6:30am

* Once hired you will be eligible for Company compensation package that includes company paid health and welfare benefits, 401k Retirement Savings Plan, paid vacations and designated holidays as well as other benefit programs.

 

This position is considered Contract-to-Direct.  This means, you will remain on Landrum’s payroll for at least 12 weeks.  Once your 12 weeks has been met, the client can elect to either bring you onto their payroll or extend the assignment out longer through Landrum.
