Job Description



An automotive dealership located in Crestview is in need of a full-time Accounting and Payroll Clerk to join their team.  Check out the description below to see if this position sounds like a great fit for you!

 

You Enjoy:

*Posting invoices

*Disbursing checks

*Balancing statements and finalizing data

*Recording bank fundings and researching returned checks

*Maintaining sales tax exempt information

*Recording, processing, and maintaining all 1099 information

*Compiling and entering payroll files

*Maintaining HR files

*Completing bank reconciliations

*Assisting with job duties as required

 

 

You Are:

*Comfortable on the phone

*A team player

*Able to communicate effectively with staff, public, and vendors

*Able to respond to inquiries in a timely manner

 

 

You Have:

*Experience as an accounts receivable/payable clerk in a dealership (not required but very nice to have!)

*Experience performing a hybrid / multi-faceted role in a small dealership a huge bonus

*Experience using a dealership management system (DMS) and payroll platform

*Tag & Title Experience (not required but very nice to have!)

*Knowledge of Excel

*Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results

*Team-oriented attitude

*Organizational, communication and computer skills

 

 

Compensation and Schedule

*This position is full-time and pays $14/hour

*Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm

Assignment Type:

*This assignment is considered Contract-to-Direct, meaning you will remain on Landrum’s payroll for at least 15 weeks. Once the 15 weeks is over, your employer can elect to bring you onto their payroll or extend the assignment out longer through Landrum.
