Company Details:

The company’s culture can be described as customer oriented and fast pace. The dress code will be Casual/Industrial with closed toed shoes; other proper safety clothing will be assigned. 

 

You Enjoy:

*Executing all aspects of field service from start to finish.

*Executing service order process.

*Assisting with customer service issues.

*Locating, installing, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining meters, boxes, and other devices as necessary.

*Checking to ensure meters are visible, correctly installed, functioning properly and accurate.

*Reading utility meters, performing special readings, and investigating customer complaints.

*Writing and electronically generating service orders for meters.

*Initiating and terminating water service as directed.

*Reporting tampered and damaged meters to billing.

*Checking accuracy of meters and reporting any defects.

*Determining consistency of meter readings in the field, checking leaks, and reporting any problems.

*Removing and reseting water meters when service has been discontinued or renewed.

*Performing turn-offs, turn-ons, and turn off customers for delinquent accounts.

*Performing minor field and shop maintenance repairs on meters.

*Maintaining and performing minor repairs on fire hydrants, meters, backflow preventers, meter testing equipment and service lines.

*Replacing meters as needed and making taps to install meters.

*Creating reports to monitor high reads.*Notifying customers of important events such as leaks, boil water notices, line breaks, etc.

*Completing other duties as assigned.

 

 You Are:

* Highly motivated and intuitive with what needs to be done

* Reliable with a can-do attitude

* Hard-working

 

You Have:

* High School Diploma or GED

* General knowledge of heavy machine operation

* Knowledge of industry standard hand signals

* Current Florida Driver’s License, required

 

Compensation and Schedule:

* This position is full-time and pays $12per hour or higher depending on experience.

* Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Assignment Type:

*This assignment is considered “Contract-to-Direct,” meaning you will remain on LandrumHR’s payroll for at least 12 weeks. Once the 12 weeks is over, your employer can elect to bring you onto their payroll or extend the assignment out longer through LandrumHR.
