Job Description

A Non-Profit organization in Pensacola that assists individuals with disabilities is looking for an Associate Director to join their team. The position will provide support to the executive director. The Associate Director will sill support direct staff in four counties. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong personal skills, excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, and a proven track record in developing programs, securing funding and developing leadership with staff. You Enjoy:

*Supporting the Executive Director with securing funding for the organization through granny writing, negotiating contracts and/or fundraising

*Assisting with managing staff and providing guidance to direct staff to be able to provide effective independent living services to participants

*Assisting with writing annual performance reports to submit to funders

*Building and maintaining relationships with the community to establish funding opportunities and create more visibility

*Document work/activities in agency database to remain complaint with funder and contracts

*Providing training to new employees, interns, and volunteers

*Providing emergency management and facilitate operations across our service area in regard to consumer needs and well-being

*Conducting systems advocacy as opportunities arise and/or company on various disability related committees.

*Developing and implementing programs to expand services

*Drafting and submitting billing monthly for fee-for-service programs   

You Have:

*BA degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or a related field.

*At least 3 years of supervisory/management experience

*Experience working at a center for Independent Living is a plus

*Strong personable and communication skills

*Experience in social service program development and leadership development           

*Proficiency with Microsoft Office

*Knowledge of ADA regulation is a plus

*Experience living with a disability is a plus. Fluent ASL is a plus

*Must be able to pass Level II background screening

*Must have reliable transportation


Compensation and Schedule

*This position is full-time  and pay will depend on experience 

*The position is exempt
