Job Description



A large manufacturing company in Pensacola is in need of a full-time Welder to join their team.  Check out the description below to see if this position sounds like a great fit for you!

You Enjoy:

You Are:

*Operate all welding equipment on-site, adhering to all site safety policies

*Perform basic safety inspections of welding equipment

*Evaluate condition of incoming rail cars for the preparation of outgoing shipments

*Fulfill metal and welding shop material requirements as assigned

*Fabricate weld brackets and tie-down brackets to support outbound rail shipments

*Clean inbound rail cars of excess metal debris in preparation for loading outbound rail cars

*Use mig and stick welding techniques to weld loaded outbound rail cars

*Monitor oxygen, acetylene, and mixed gas levels to ensure tanks are full

*Maintain integrity with daily inspections and report damage of welding equipment to your supervisor

*Operate scissor lift, fork lift, club car, and/or other vehicles to facilitate welding services

*Maintain proper housekeeping of work area

 

You Have:

*A high school diploma or GED.

*Experience performing various welding techniques, equipment operation or similar.

* Experienced with mig and stick welding

 

Compensation and Schedule

This position is full-time and pays $15.00 per hour.

This position is working first shift, 6:00am – 2:30pm., Monday – Friday.

Must be able to work overtime and occasional weekend if needed.

 

Assignment Type:

This assignment is considered Contract and will be determined by the client’s needs.
