A local fire protection company based out of Cantonment needs a full-time Fire Alarm Technician to service the Okaloosa/ Walton County. Check out the description below to see if this position sounds like a great fit for you!

*Reading and interpreting blueprints
*Exhibiting excellent customer service
*Performing other duties assigned, including attending training classes
*Completing vehicle reports in a timely manner
*Maintaining accurate truck inventory
*Working well with others
*Additional duties may be assigned
*Highly motivated and intuitive with what needs to be done
*A great listener with a positive, can-do attitude
*Detail oriented and hold strong problem-solving skills
*Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
*Able to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and lifting
*Able to lift and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds
*Minimum high school diploma/GED-Prefer NICET or be able to obtain within 1 year
* Experience working as a fire alarm and security technician for a minimum of 3 years.
*Familiar with NFPA codes and standards.
*Strong work ethic and integrity
*Proficient use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
*Working knowledge of test equipment such as a digital multi-meter
*Electrical construction knowledge
*A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Compensation and Schedule:
*This position is full-time and pays $15.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
*Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., must be willing to work some evenings and weekends if the job
*Paid time off (PTO)
*This assignment is considered “Contract-to-Direct,” meaning you will remain on LandrumHR’s payroll for at least 15 weeks. Once the 15 weeks is over, your employer can elect to bring you onto their payroll or extend the assignment out longer through LandrumHR.
