*Working with clients and facilities to verify the information to submit and obtain completed records requests.
*Works closely with other departments to coordinate responses to both clients and facilities in order to fulfil requests.
*Reviews POA documents and HIPAA/HITECH authorizations to ensure compliance with company requirements.
*Reviewing patient information, obtaining facility requirements, and documents to ensure compliance with company and facility requirements.
*Working with confidential material, checking and reviewing HIPAA documentation for accuracy and matches. This is our first document sent to the facility and cannot have mistakes; otherwise it will be rejected, making the process start all over again.
* Able to handle telephone communications necessary to obtain any facility information necessary to submit requests
* Customer service oriented
*Comfortable on the computer
*Able deal with difficult/unhappy customers
*Great with communication both written and verbally
*Great phone etiquette
*Attention to detail
*Quick and accurate data entry
*Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Adobe, Microsoft Word and Excel
Compensation and Schedule:
*This position is full-time and pays $11/hour
*Hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-7:00pm
*This assignment is considered “Contract-to-Direct,” meaning you will remain on Landrum’s payroll for at least 15 weeks. Once the 15 weeks is over, your employer can elect to bring you onto their payroll or extend the assignment out longer through Landrum.
